About

I am Julia Kotze, an artist based in South Africa.

With lifelong experience in a variety of creative mediums and professional training as a 3D artist, I turned my focus to traditional oil painting in 2023, specialising in animals.

A chronic creator, I also handcraft my own frames, giving each pet portrait an extra warm touch. I strive to capture the unique personality and character of every animal I paint, aiming to bring a smile to anyone who looks at it.

You'll find my latest work on Instagram, or you can email me directly.
